Please complete a selection of these tasks if you are self-isolating at home and are well enough to complete work

English – Writing
Practice your handwriting, remembering to join your letters.
Write out your spelling words.
Write you own adventure story, you could base it on a story or film you enjoy.
Write a letter to an alien telling them all about our school.
English – Reading
Continue to read books at home.
Have a go at a reading comprehension below.
Draw a self portrait.
Draw a portrait of someone else.
Draw what you can see out of a window.
Pick an artist to find out about and try to recreate one of their pictures.
Complete a Cosmic Yoga (on YouTube)
Complete a Joe Wicks workout (on YouTube)
Complete a SuperMovers (on BBC)
Practice throwing a ball into the air and catching it. Or against a wall.
Design your own obstacle course.
Use the links on the Catholic section of the school website.
Geography / History
Research the Romans, pick an area to find out about. Maybe their homes, what they ate, what they wore or their Gods.
Label a map of where the Romans invaded.
Draw and label a Roman soldier.
Make a list of electrical items in your home.
Research how electricity gets to our homes.
Make a poster telling people how to stay safe when using electrical items.

Welcome to the class page for Year 4, here you will find out some information about timetable and class expectations.
In Year 4 you will receive the following homework; we expect homework to be completed on time.
- Please ensure all children have appropriate footwear for woodland warriors in school. We will have Woodland Warriors on Tuesday afternoons – children will need wellies if possible as it can get muddy. They will be provided with water proofs to go over their uniform so they will not need any special clothing.
