On Tuesday 14th May, Year Three Oak and Pear took part in a retreat day at school. They were joined by the Year Three pupils from Our Lady Queen of Peace and St George’s Catholic Primary Schools. Daniel Callow from One Life Music led us all in this day of prayer, reflection and hymns. It provided the classes with a fantastic opportunity to explore their faith and to continue to prepare the children to celebrate the sacrament of First Holy Communion this weekend. The children had a great time working together, exploring this wonderful sacrament and what it is going to mean to them as they continue on their faith journey. The children made many new friends during the day and as the weather was kind to us, we enjoyed sharing a picnic lunch together on the school field too!
